One of the most crucial armor components, the front skid takes the blunt of rock bashes, impacts when bottoming out, and general abuse when off pavement. With that in mind, we've built a front skid that stands up to the punishment of trail life!
Constructed of either .185" steel or .25" aluminum and features an oil filter access door with countersunk holes for bolts a welded backing plate for durability. Aluminum is NOT recommended for rock crawling.
These are offered in a raw finish with no coating or with powder coating. There is NO warranty on powder coating on skids due to their intended use! This includes shipping and handling marks on powder. If you are concerned about powder finish we recommend ordering raw and getting them powder coated locally.
